I wanted to call everyone and give them all hugs and kisses but alas i was unable to operate my mobile device. This thread is about what you did for new yrs night and who you were with and how it rates on previous yrs. Was it all you wanted it to be and dreamed of? or did it fizz out like the rest of them?

I mentioned this to Sandi after I saw a sign on Tamborine and she is super keen so I thought I would put it out to the group! No dates have been set or anything as yet, once we work out who's keen we can sort it from there :)

I just spoke to the guy and for Tandem Hangglding the cost is $250.

The jist of it is that you get towed behind an ultralight to 3000ft. Tamborine Mountain is 1800ft to give you an idea of how high that it. To those of us that skydived its a walk in the park ;)

The total experience goes for about 25 mins. 10-15 beind the plane and the 10 to glide back to land.

I thought there was a thread on this already but I couldn't find it so started another one.

Just wanted to put it out there to those of you trekking down for it that although I don't have actual beds (although there is a foldaway in the building I can grab) anyone that needs a place to crash are more than welcome to my floor/couch whatever you can find!

So 2009 is just around the corner.. I've started having a think about what I'd like to do/get done in 2009. (This could be anything from more study, get a new job, travel, fun, etc - kinda like a new years res.) Share it with us!

Figured you guys would be onto this, just trying to find out where to find a good deal on a new macbook pro, annoying how expensive they are but i have come to realise i really really really want one haha and have been saving my pennies.... so yeh any comments/places to buy/ etc. would be more than appreciated! any good/bad experiences with them???????????

So from the 22nd til the 26th I'm staying at my parents house to look after our cat while they're away. Perfect excuse to have a bit of a pool/bbq/party etc.

So I appreciate people are really busy around this time but do you want to have a small shindig on Tuesday the 23rd? I was thinking a late arvo start (maybe 2 or 3) for those who don't have to work, and we can put the bbq on for dinner. Scotty suggested having a bit of a jam as the night progresses too ;)

Anybody keen? This was spawned by how hot it's been lately and there's a pool there for anybody keen to get in.
